WHAT IS AN ATTENDED FUNERAL?
A funeral is a time to say goodbye to your loved one, and should be a unique and personal occasion. Our Attended Funeral closely resembles what people may expect from a traditional funeral, but without the so often unwanted and unnecessary ceremonial excess and need for a traditional Funeral Director.
An Attended Funeral is organised over the phone by our funeral arrangers who will be on hand to help you make all of the necessary arrangements, from the music you'd like to suggesting a local minister or officiant. This offers you the freedom to plan a ceremony in the crematorium chapel in the same way you would with a traditional funeral - just without the face-to-face services of a Funeral Director.
Not sure where to start? Learn 'how to arrange a funeral service'.
With the ceremony organised carefully by you, we'll focus on the practical elements of the cremation including the collection and care of your loved one and the transportation to the crematorium on the day of the funeral. We simply remove the need for a procession with hearses and limousines prior to the service. Your loved one will be resting in the chapel prior to your arrival so you can focus on leading a fitting ceremony and saying goodbye in the way you best feel commemorates their life.
Rest assured, we'll be there to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day and that all of your personal touches are included.

If you would like to plan ahead and arrange this type of funeral for yourself, please see the Orchid Plan, which guarantees a simple funeral with a service arranged by your family anytime in the future, but at today's prices.
Please note we have temporarily restricted the Attended Funeral to up to 10 people, based on government guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
We understand this is a concerning and confusing time for everyone. Right now, we have some restrictions and limitations on our services to ensure we are able to sustain caring for families and the deceased in the coming months. Read our FAQs here.
Our Attended Funeral costs from £1,895 - and includes doctor's fees, cremation fees, provision of a simple wood effect coffin^, preparation for cremation in our quality mortuary facilities and transportation in a specialised funeral vehicle.

They were very kind and made sure every thing was taken care of, but had to use a cremotorian that was of their choice when we would have rather use the one nearer to us.
My file handler Jenny was incredible, very professional and understanding. The whole process was really simple, didn't struggle with organising anything. I'm also very grateful for simplicity dealing with the funeral during the difficult time of the corona virus. Thank you.
