WHAT IS AN ATTENDED FUNERAL?
A funeral is a time to say goodbye to your loved one, and should be a unique and personal occasion.
An attended funeral is organised over the phone by our funeral arrangers who will be on hand to help you make all of the necessary arrangements, from the music you'd like to suggesting a local minister or officiant. This offers you the freedom to plan a ceremony in the chapel in the same way you would with a traditional funeral - just without the face-to-face services of a Funeral Director.
Our 'How to arrange a funeral' guide may help you to think about what you might want on the day for your loved one.
With the ceremony organised carefully by you, we'll focus on the practical elements of the cremation including the care of your loved one and the transportation to the crematorium. We simply remove the need for a procession with hearses and limousines prior to the service. Your loved one will be resting in the chapel prior to your arrival so you can focus on leading a fitting ceremony.
You can be sure we'll be there to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day and that all of your personal touches are included.
Read a step by step guide of how the Attended Funeral works.
Our attended funeral includes doctor's fees, cremation fees, provision of a simple wooden coffin^, collection from the place of rest a few days prior to cremation** and transportation in a specialised funeral vehicle.

Our customer experience is very important to us and we strive to deliver a high quality service every time.
I just found that Simplicity funerals spelt it out really simply. You knew where you were going financially. I've recommended them already. When you're tired you just don't want to be bamboozled by people selling you [stuff] you don't need. It had very good reviews - as being a simple process and there always being someone there you can speak to.
