When somebody dies, you don’t need a fuss, you do need someone local to help. Simplicity Cremations is the way to go: professional, affordable and kind.
Our direct cremation service in Newark offers a respectful, affordable alternative without the formality, ceremony, or expense associated with a full funeral service.
Our crematoria are set in beautiful, peaceful grounds in locations across Newark and the East Midlands.
A simple, affordable direct cremation, without the fuss.

As well as our crematorium in Newark, we operate our own network of crematoria across the country.
Our Newark crematorium can be found in the district of Newark and Sherwood, among the green hills between New Ollerton, Boughton, Wellow and Kirkton. Opened in January 2006 by the Bishop of Southwell, it was the first crematorium in the UK to be designed and built with environmental protection in mind, safeguarding against heavy metal pollution, which is a severe threat to marine habitats.
Whether you are religious or non-religious, our Newark crematorium can cater for all cultures and beliefs. There is a Wesley Music System with an extensive selection of songs as well as space for a traditional organ. The Garden of Remembrance here provide a peaceful and tranquil setting to reflect on the fond memories you have with your loved one.

Our funeral plan is for a direct cremation. It costs over £300 less than other leading providers, but the real benefit is the peace of mind it brings.
