Our Exeter crematorium

Alongside our Exeter crematorium, we also run our own network of crematoria across the country.

Opened in the autumn of 1963, our crematorium in Exeter has served families in the nearby area and the wider Devon community for over half a century. Set within 14 acres of beautifully-maintained grounds, the crematorium's two multi-faith service chapels are designed to provide a respectful environment. The memorial chapel, where a Book of Remembrance is displayed, is open all year round and available for private prayer, small memorial services, or simple, peaceful contemplation. The Gardens of Remembrance remain open 365 days a year and offer a reflective walk through a stunning landscape featuring a rose garden, avenues of trees, and other endearing features.

During a service, your choice of music can be provided via CD or the Wesley Music System, which sources requests and gives high-quality playback. The crematorium has disabled parking, along with wheelchair access and toilet facilities, and the service chapel is also equipped with a hearing loop.
