Since its opening in 1941 on land shared by Brighton and Preston Cemetery, the crematorium has supported families from both Brighton and the wider area, including Hove, Lewes, Worthing and Saltdean. Within the grounds lie the beautiful Gardens of Remembrance, offering a peaceful retreat where you can pause for thought. On a clear day, you’ll also be able to appreciate the relaxing view of the English Channel. With two chapels on site, our Brighton crematorium can accommodate both larger and smaller congregations.

To ensure accessibility for everyone in Brighton and the surrounding community, our crematorium offers wheelchair-friendly access and disabled toilet facilities. There’s also a hearing loop that allows those in the congregation with partial hearing to appreciate the service fully.
